Building Discipleship on the Rock of God's Word
who we are
Hello, friend. Welcome to the fam!
We’re so glad you’re here—truly. Whether you stumbled across this space by accident or came searching for something deeper, we don’t believe it’s a coincidence. God has a way of leading us right where we need to be, even when we don’t recognize it at first.
A Cup of Jesus was born out of a generation crying out—not for more noise or surface-level answers, but for more of God. More truth. More depth. More presence. We saw the ache. We felt it too. And in that ache, God stirred something in us—a desire to create a space that feels like home for the hungry-hearted.
We know what it’s like to thirst for more. To sit in church and still feel empty. To want Jesus, not just sermons. To want presence, not just performance. That’s why we’re here.
We’re a community of believers—flawed, growing, but deeply in love with Jesus—who want to see others walk in healing, in wholeness, in authority, in power, and in holiness. We don’t pretend to have all the answers. But we know the One who does. And we want to walk with you as you seek Him for yourself.
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.”
— Psalm 42:1
So stay awhile. Pour a cup. There’s room for you at the table.

What we believe
We believe the Bible is the living, breathing Word of God. It’s not outdated or distant—it’s alive, relevant, and able to transform lives. We believe Jesus is not just a historical figure but the son of God who still saves, still speaks, still heals, and still breaks chains today.
We believe in truth without compromise, grace without limits, and faith that walks even when it doesn’t see. We believe that holiness is not legalism—it’s reverence to the lord. It’s responding to a God who gave us everything by giving Him everything in return.
We believe your story matters. That no one is too far, too broken, or too late for God to use. And that even in your wilderness, God is writing something beautiful.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
— Psalm 119:105
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to pour a steady cup of truth, love, and encouragement into your everyday life. To help you build a house on the Rock, not on sand. To challenge the lies of the enemy with the authority of God’s Word. And to remind you that freedom, healing, and clarity are found not in striving but in surrender.
We want to make disciples, not just followers. Rooted in faith, not just hype. A generation that doesn’t just know about God but walks with Him—daily and without shame.
We also believe in creating space for the searching soul—a table for the weary and a sanctuary for those tired of pretending. Whether you're just beginning your journey or have walked with Jesus for years, our heart is to meet you with grace, walk beside you with truth, and point you toward the One who never fails.
Our calling comes straight from Jesus’ words in Matthew 28:19—to go and make disciples of all nations. But more than a mission statement, it’s a daily invitation: to lean into God’s voice, to encourage one another when doubts surface, and to celebrate every step of faith, big or small.
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
— Matthew 7:24
